Distance: An Introspective Reflection
Though we are far, we feel as if we are near,
Closer to the birth of a new atmosphere,
Flying south to the edge of your soul,
Departing from what we have known,
Yet connected with a thread that time can't cut.
In the silent space between breaths, we find our place,
Not lost, yet roaming, searching for the mercy
Of times together, now hanging in air,
As distance fades away, and memories repair.
However stretched the miles, the hearts may align,
In that openness, our spirits may intertwine.
Though separated by worlds, we still may find
The connection's bridge, forever left upon the mind.
