Malibu Breezin'
I stand overlooking the cliff,
The PCH beneath my feet, mesmerized by the sun's reflection
On the mirrored glass surface of the Pacific.
Four seagulls soar,
Gliding across the skyline,
Their wings brushing the air,
Like lovers, kissing for the very first time.
As the eve draws near,
I watch the sun sink,
Breaking the silence of the day,
Bathed in the sexy tones of blue skies and orange horizons,
With Catalina Island painting the perfect backdrop.
From this cliff,
I see a couple,
Exploring the possibility of love,
Taking a step closer to the ocean's kiss.
My lens captures the moment—
Their lips meet, tongues entwining in French,
J'adore ton amour, embrasse-moi.
On this evening,
As I linger, inhaling the fresh scent of saltwater,
Frankincense incense, sage, and a hint of Cali homegrown,
Best Part plays softly,
Filling the air, as waves crash ashore,
The mist rising like a dream,
Sealing the moment in time.
